In-person Mat Classes

Borrowing the classic adage, “Miserly Loves Company” its true that being in a community of like-minded & possibly like-condition people can be an invaluable part of a yoga journey.

Good Vibes Only.

Your personal experience with pain or physical limitation may make showing up to a yoga class feel intimidating or intangible. If the thought of being judged for modifying your practice is stopping you- know that each person is on their own personal journey and, if practicing with intention, are only focused on their own mat. The yoga studio is a safe space.

Class descriptions

Gentle Yoga
This Hatha style class is designed to build deep strength learning and assembling postures from the foundation up. There are no fancy transitions to allow deep stability for the joints. Each sequence will have a balance of standing, seated, lying & 1+ restorative postures. We use ample props and modifications. This class is for all ambulatory ability levels.

Gentle Flow
This Vinyasa style class is designed to be just a little faster paced gentle class with link of movement to breath. With a balance of standing, seated, lying & 1+ restorative postures. We will still use ample props and modifications. This class is for all ambulatory ability levels.

Align
Much like the name suggests, this style of yoga has a special emphasis on posture alignment. A Hatha style class building posture to posture with no “flow” builds a stable foundation and is good for those wanting to dive deep & those with unstable joints (like me!).

Vinyasa aka “Flow”
The Sanskrit word ‘vinyasa’ means link of movement and breath. This class keeps a steady pace of movement through standing, seated, prone & supine postures. Emphasis on props and modifications for all postures and transitions. Physically challenging to strengthen the body and mind, this class is still for all ability levels.

Come drop-in

All classes are drop-in style, there’s no need to pre-register, but showing up early to get a spot is always recommended.

One of my favorite things about yoga is the minimal equipment required to practice. Dress in comfy clothes and bring a mat if you like. All studios are equipped with mats and any additional props that might be used.
